  • Translator and newsreader at the English-Language Service of Radio Sofia. Part-time translator at Radio Sofia's Rock & Pop Department
  • Director of Institute 66 Language & Translation Center, Plovdiv, one of the first private language schools in Bulgaria. Heaviest emphasis was on language training (largest in Plovdiv in terms of the number of course participants: more than 9,000 students in 9 years), but a fair amount of translation work as well.
  • Wide experience in teaching English as a foreign language at various levels, as well as in the business of running a language school, arranging courses (English, all levels, incl. SAT & TOEFL, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Turkish, Norwegian, Swedish, etc), planning course curricula, etc. Wide experience in freelance translation to and from English, Bulgarian and Norwegian.   • Special interests include foreign languages, one of  my favorite fields of interest being the Norwegian language and culture. Other hobbies: my dictionary project on slang and colloquialisms. American slang
